Mancuso Racing’s Last Season
Last Saturday morning at the AHDRA event in Bristol I informed my
riders Jay Turner and Jack Romine that this would be the last season
for Mancuso Racing to compete in Nitro Harley competition. I also
informed the staff of AHDRA and several of my friends and
competitors. I had already told my crew chief Brad Latham and my
clutch man David Fitzhugh earlier (they both live in Houston) but I
wanted to inform my riders personally so it did not come as a
surprise. Team Mancuso will continue an aggressive championship
chase for the balance of the 2007 season with Jay Turner riding the
bike he has been on board since 2005. Jack Romine has accepted a
crew chief position with Jim Fagan on Jim’s newly acquired Top
Fuel bike that should be ready for competition at the upcoming AHDRA
racing in Richmond, VA. Jack’s wife Patty will be on the crew as
well as others to be announced at a later date.
My fiancé Jane and I have finished our home in Plantersville, Texas
and we plan of shifting our interests to another kind of horsepower,
the four-legged kind. We will continue to enjoy our horses as well
as developing our own breeding program for Cutting Horses.
In keeping with these thoughts, I would like to inform everyone that
the entire operation of Mancuso Racing will be for sale: bikes,
trailer, motorhome, support equipment as well as a shop full of
supplies and spares; basically, everything I have for Nitro Harley
Racing. Please email
me for a list, pricing and phone contact numbers. I assure everyone
that everything will be priced to sell.
To my Riders, Crew, Sponsors and Fans, all who have been so loyal
for all of these years, I want to say a sincere “Thank You.”
Your support has meant so much to me and to the successes of Mancuso
Racing. No big farewells, we still have Championships to win this
year!
Thanks Again!
Johnny Mancuso
